Nobue's birthday is actually the 26th, but Sunday was close enough.
Took a nice drive through Lucas Valley / Nicasio to the Coast North of Point Reyes - Mable's Restaurant in Marshall - for an early celebration.
Bit early to the restaurant so we were happy to find a lounge with a view...

| Time to eat - pile of steamed Tomales Bay mussels for me and a brger of local beast for the birthday girl. Mussels were perfect - soft and soaked in garlicky/salty steaming liquid, which is sopped up with homemade grilled chibatta. |
